POTS Tip Ring Technician - Casper, WY

Volt Telecom Group seeks an Inside Wire POTS Tip and Ring Technician.  This is a "PART TIME" position. Candidates must have basic knowledge of Tip & Ring Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS). Experience with pulling, test and tone inside residential and customer inside premises wiring and forwarding dial tone from the Demarc to the actual telephone jack with trouble shooting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Technicians must have a vehicle able to carry, secure and house company provided materials.
• Must have utility ladder and own tools including dial test set and cell phone, personal laptop a plus, but not required.
• Pay is hourly based which the hiring manager will discuss with qualified and interested candidates upon receipt of resume.

• Must have prior POTS experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and fluent (writing) in English.
• Must be able to pass initial background check & drug screening, along with random drug screening throughout assignment.
• Valid Drivers License and another form of identification required for application.
• Must provide proof of auto insurance and pass DMV check.

• Technicians are responsible for gas, upkeep and valid insurance of the vehicle.

Physical Job Activities:

Medium to Heavy, Standing 20%, Walking 10%, Sitting 5%, Climbing 10%, Lifting 10%, Bending 15%, Driving 15%, and Stooping 15%.
