George Maquieira is the Vice President of Central Office engineering, furnishing and installation work (EF&I). The division has its headquarters in Sayreville, NJ. George began work with Volt Telecom Group as a Senior Engineer and Account Manager in 1991, and progressed to Operations Manager Engineering and Installation and then, in May 1995, to Division Manager, Central Office.

Prior to Volt, George worked for 23 years at AT&T Technologies in various engineering and management positions, in Customer Interface Engineering, Operations and Technical Support, ISDN deployment, electronic and crossbar switching, power and transmission systems. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Industrial Engineering.
