Title: Contracts Administrator, Southern CA

Location: Southern CA - United States

Description: Volt Telecommunications Group is looking for a Contract Administrator to work out of the Corona office. This individual will be instrumental in managing and reviewing commercial as well as government contracts.

Duties will include:

• Help create and direct program contract policies and procedures with respect to contract administration. Provide feedback on continuous improvement in performance
• Help represent the company in negotiations and discussions with customers on all major problems pertinent to the execution, negotiation and administration of both government and commercial contracts
• Help with leads the negotiation of contracts as well as changes to existing contracts
• Review contract format concerning terms, conditions, and estimated cost and fees on price, as well as re-determination and termination of contracts
• Deals directly with government auditors during audit investigations by retrieving required approvals, resolving questions related to costs resolving questions related to company policies and procedures and following up on changes recommended by the auditors
• Serve as contact between the company and governmental agencies

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass initial drug testing, background check and random drug testing
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Must have 5-8 years of contracts administration experience
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in administering government contracts
• Position requires excellent verbal and written/interpersonal skills, math aptitude and problem solving skills
