R.
J. “Chip” Anderson
President
Chip joined Volt Telecom Group in 2001 as Vice President of Global Infrastructure, bringing with him over 20 years of management experience within the telecommunications industry. His success in managing and streamlining operations led to his promotion to Vice President -- Western division, and subsequently to President when all operations were consolidated to provide central oversight and management.
As President of Volt Telecom Group, Chip oversees a premier global services organization that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., our parent company (2006 revenue of $2.3 billion). Operations include the design, engineering, construction, installation and maintenance of all voice, data and video infrastructure, including wireless, for both government and private sectors.
Chip’s career in telecommunications began as a technician in 1980 with Volt Telecom Group. He then accepted a position with GTE Telephone Operations, first as a technician and then as an engineer. In 1988, he moved to CONTEL Federal Systems to manage a communications infrastructure build-out project for the US Air Force, and spent the next 13 years overseeing various projects at over 100 military installations. During his tenure at CONTEL Federal Systems (which became GTE Government Systems and then General Dynamics), his responsibilities included Program Manager, Director and Vice President of Network Infrastructure.

Charles "Chuck" Scott
Chief Operating Officer
Chuck Scott joined Volt Telecom Group in June 2007 as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions, later renamed Integrated Technologies Global Solutions (ITGS). Bringing with him 27 years of industry experience, he successfully directed the nationwide operation of structured wiring and cabling, telephone/VoIP systems, security, call center/Field Force and Pay Phones, along with related services within his business division. His achievement in this position as an innovative leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, successful track record in operations management, cross-organizational integration and high-quality service delivery in the telecommunications and security sector led to his promotion to Chief Operating Officer in June 2008.
As COO of Volt Telecom Group, Mr. Scott reports directly to the President and is responsible for company operations. He provides direction for each of our operating units and ensures the implementation and execution of company objectives nationwide. This appointment reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing strategic growth while providing our clients with best-of-class, cost-effective service.
Chuck’s career began in 1980 as a technician with Pacific Telecom. His career has produced a trail of accomplishments in positions of greater responsibility throughout the telecom industry. He began as a Customer Service Supervisor with GTE, where he was later promoted to Customer Service Manager. From there, he moved to Juneau, Alaska as General Manager for CellularOne. He traveled to Iowa as President and Chief Executive Officer of Iowa Wireless Services, a limited partnership between T-Mobile and Iowa Network Services operating over 225 cell sites in the mid-West. His most recent position prior to Volt Telecom Group was President of Automated Technologies and Integration, an Engineering, Installation and Maintenance company for a variety of Electronic systems.

Rick
Bevill
Vice President
Construction
- East Division
Rick has worked
in the telecommunications construction industry since
1981, and began with Volt back in 1984. His
division provides a host of outside plant construction
services to the telecommunications industry, involving
substructure, placing, splicing and turn-up and testing
of copper and fiber cable, both underground and aerial.
Many of these same construction services are provided
to gas, water and water-service providers.
Rick
has held positions of increasing responsibilities
over the years at Volt Telecom Group, managing master
contracts for Verizon and Sprint in Florida. His office
is located in North Port, FL. |

Jerry
Cotten
Director
Contracts
/ Purchasing
Director
of Contracts and Purchasing, Volt Telecommunications
Group, Inc. - Jerry is located in Cary, NC, and is
responsible for all contract and subcontract-related
activities for VTG, as well as purchasing for the
BSI, OSP, and OSPE Divisions of Volt.
Jerry joined Volt Telecom Group,
Inc. in December 1999 after serving three plus years
with Lucent Technologies Services Company, a subsidiary
of Lucent Technologies Inc., where Jerry worked as
Contract Manager. Prior to Lucent, Jerry held contract
positions with such companies as ManTech Environmental,
Walter Kidde Company, Northrop Services, and TRW.
Jerry has a BS degree from North Carolina State University
in Business Economics, a Masters in Global Contract
Management from George Washington University, and
approximately 32 years contracts experience, including
commercial and government contracts with both domestic
and international applications. |

Sam Edmondson
Vice President
Solar Solutions
Sam Edmondson has 24 years of industry experience, including 12 with Volt Telecom Group. He is responsible for our wireless business, including maintenance, upgrades and infrastructure builds in both government and private sectors. He began with Volt Telecom Group as a Director of National Sales in 1995, and was instrumental in developing the company's first professional sales department. In addition, he restructured and expanded sales' focus from one-dimensional (Customer Premise) disciplines to represent our companywide capabilities that included Outside Plant Construction & Engineering, Central Office EF&I, Wireless and Telecom Staffing within his first two years of employment. In 2004, Sam achieved 136 percent of revenue target with an effective cost of sales ratio of 5 percent, earning him the annual President's "Excellence In Management" Award.
Prior to Volt Telecom Group, he was a Director of Sales and Marketing for Brumfield Network Communications, a start-up distributor of Broadband components in Alameda, CA. Previous, he assisted in a start-up business initiative to offer Pacific Bell turn-key engineering and installation services of telecommunications Controlled Environmental Vaults (CEVs) and above ground Huts for Pacific Telesis Group.

Joe
Libertucci
Division Manager
Outside
Plant Engineering
Joe Libertucci heads the Engineering
Division in the Eastern US, which has its headquarters
in Clearwater, FL. He has been with Volt Telecom
Group since 1980, when he began his career with Volt
as a Senior Project Engineer working with Southern
Bell on a Rapid Transit Relocation project for three
years. Over the next seven years, Joe was Volt
Area Manager in Miami, Engineering Supervisor for
an AT&T System 85 Project at Iowa State University
and Volt Regional Engineering Manager for Florida.
In 1990, he was appointed Division Manager of Engineering
Operations for the United States. |

Laura Lindsay
Manager, Human Resources
Laura Lindsay joined Volt Telecom Group on March 17, 2008 as our new Human Resources Manager, reporting directly to Louise Ross with a dotted line to Chip Anderson. Laura’s responsibilities include people processes management, employee relations and training
Laura has held a number of challenging positions over her tenure in the Human Resources field. Prior to Volt Telecom Group, she worked as a consultant to the Orange YMCA, auditing chapters’ personnel records to ensure compliance with state and local regulations. Once each chapter met the legal requirements, she then was able to write grants for funding.
Other prior experience includes working for Bed, Bath & Beyond as a District HR Manager, Circuit City as a Regional—West Coast HR Manager for service and distribution, and Auto Zone as a Regional HR Manager. Her extensive experience in business education, non-profit and retail brought her to Volt Telecom Group.

Maquieira
Vice President
Network
and Enterprise Solutions
George Maquieira
is the Vice President of Central Office engineering,
furnishing and installation work (EF&I).
The division has its headquarters in Sayreville, NJ.
George began work with Volt Telecom Group as a Senior
Engineer and Account Manager in 1991, and progressed
to Operations Manager Engineering and Installation
and then, in May 1995, to Division Manager, Central
Office.
Prior to Volt, George worked
for 23 years at AT&T Technologies in various engineering
and management positions, in Customer Interface Engineering,
Operations and Technical Support, ISDN deployment,
electronic and crossbar switching, power and transmission
systems. HE holds a BS in Electrical Engineering
and an MS in Industrial Engineering. |

Kingsley
Nelson
Vice President
Marketing
and Sales
King
Nelson is Vice President of Marketing and Sales for
Volt Telecom Group. He joined Volt in early
1997 after a career with NYNEX (later Bell Atlantic,
and now Verizon), where he held positions in sales
and marketing, customer services, installation and
maintenance, PhoneCenters, training and several staff
functions. During the last four years at NYNEX,
he had planning and business development responsibilities
for NYNEX Entertainment and Information Services and
managed the relationship with Viacom and NYNEX’s
Cable Company in the United Kingdom.
Volt Telecom Group’s
sales team reports to King. He is responsible
for all sales and marketing activities, internal and
external communications programs for the company.

Brian
Ryan
Vice President
Construction - West Divison
Brian Ryan
is the Vice President of Volt Telecom Resources (VTR) and
Volt Telecom Commercial Construction. VTR provides
professional recruiting, screening and placement services
for every facet of the telecommunications industry.
Brian started with Volt in 2002 bringing with him
more than 13 years of experience with telecommunications
service providers and broadband infrastructure construction
companies such as SBC, AT&T Local Services, Fluor,
and The Walt Disney Company. Past projects have
included deployment of metro fiber rings for Global
Crossings, Level (3), FiberNet, Adelphia, Disney,
Fluor Enterprises, and Wilshire Connect.
