Volt Telecom Group has extensive experience in the management, engineering and installation of outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) physical infrastructure. Since 1970, we have applied a continuous improvement process, incorporating lessons learned from managing, designing and implementing many large-scale DoD projects into our project management approach. By following our proven management approach, Volt Telecom Group has delivered over 20 on-time cutovers of major base infrastructure modernization and upgrade programs. |

Major DoD contracts Volt Telecom Group has been involved with include both the Air Force’s Regional Distribution System (RDS) and Combat Information Transport Systems (CITS) programs, the Army’s Digital Switched Systems Modernization Program (DSSMP), Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP), Major Command Telephone Modernization Program (MTMP), Outside Cable Rehabilitation II (OSCAR II), along with the Navy’s Voice, Video and Data (ViViD) and Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI). Our depth of experience will allow us to perform successfully in the future. Over the past 5 years, Volt Telecom Group has been involved with over 35 construction projects at various Army, Marine, Navy and Air Force sites. The projects involved both ISP and OSP infrastructure in support of new / upgraded Base Area Networks (BANs).
